Do You Do Product Testing?

Product Testing For Safety With Our Mineral Makeup & Skincare

We do product testing on every mineral makeup and skincare product we sell on our many human volunteers prior to them being released to market. If it doesn’t work on our skin, it won’t work on yours, and the process of trial and error begins again.

We have determined through such testing, including data reports from the FDA and CIR (cosmetic ingredient review) on raw ingredients, our minerals and skincare products to be safe when used in accordance with directions and free of any complications when used correctly.

Can I Use Your Mineral Makeup After A Chemical Peel?

Answer:  Our mineral makeup can be used right after a microdermabrasion or a light chemical peel.  Mineral powders will provide a barrier on skin against outside elements after getting one of these procedures done.  They will help to cover the redness, and through the use of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, skin will be soothed and protected, allowing erythema to improve, and the addition of Allantoin also assists with inflamed skin.  Rice powder will cool and further soothe skin, and Jojoba, which balances the pH of skin, combined with skin conditioning Methicone, both will provide a barrier against trans-epidermal moisture loss.

Do You Offer Mineral Makeup Kits?

Answer:  We have considered the idea of incorporating mineral makeup kits into our shopping cart for convenience, and finally decided to move forward and give our customers what they need and want.

Main points for deciding for including mineral makeup kits As a rule, kits are usually predetermined colors with limited choices.  What we learned from women in most cases, they believed they would end up with product they can’t use or won’t use based on how those colors worked out on their skin, or based on past experience with using kits.  So we have created a diverse customized selection for our ladies so no more being stuck with product you can’t use!

Can You Use Eye Shadows Or Blush On Other Parts Of The Face?

Answer: Yes!  All eye shadows are safe and can be used on cheeks for extra shimmer or evening glow.  However not all colors should be used unless you enjoy purple skin, like the cookie monster, or a lovely green gargoyle look.

There are shades we recommend as a face color or cheek booster within the product description of the specific color which are ideal for that extra “pizazz” of the skin, such as brightening quality, or a more enhanced dewy appearance.
